Our Legacy at Teufelsfelsen — Seit 1970
Zwinger vom Teufelsfelsen began in 1970 with Manfred Franck and a deep respect for the German Shepherd. Over five decades, our kennel has remained small, personal, and grounded in the same values: character, reliability, and a true connection between dog and family.
The name Teufelsfelsen – “Devil’s Rock” – reflects the rugged land and strong spirit of the dogs who inspired it. Many of our dogs have grown up on this ground, traveled to shows, and lived their entire lives with our family.

A Life in the Ring & the Club Community
Dog shows have been a central part of Manfred’s life with the German Shepherd. Over the years, Teufelsfelsen dogs have earned titles, ratings, and recognition for structure, presence, and temperament.
Beyond the results, showing has kept our kennel connected to the German Shepherd community – clubs, judges, and fellow breeders all working to maintain the standard of the breed.
